The Post

Each of these pics are special, they all mean something to me.

This is the first of many gallery post's.

Pic 1 Tiaan Kriegler

Wave- Caves
Watching this man surf is awesome, and taking pics of him are even better. He is one of those surfers that always seem to get the sickest waves in a session, so keeping the lens on him to whole time pays off.

In this pic i was the one to blame for my bad timing, he tweaked this invert really well. When i send this pic to Tiaan he criticized himself for it not being very tweaked and yet it was compleatly my fault, a humble man of many kinds.

Pic 2 Gustav Botha

Wave- Caves
I went to caves this day to shoot some surfers, so i was situated on the first peak which was quite far from the wedge ie bodyboards. I enjoy shooting surfers if they go for airs which these boys were doing, but i was craving for some boogie action every now and then i would see a foam board just flip out. I had just turned to look down to the wedge with my lens and say a guy take off on a fat wedge, i snaped one shot and it was perfect. This is a really cool angle and i was surprised when i got home and zoomed to see who it was. Old school rider Gustav Botha, every now and then he will try a crazy move and just nearly not land it. So i was stoked when i saw it was him with a stylish invert.

Pic 3 Mark Mc Carthy

Wave- Caves
This was a really bad day to shoot, there was a light afternoon mist hanging around and it made it nearly impossible to see what i was taking photo's of. I was watching Mark catching waves and saw him bust something, i snapped it, all that came out on the camera was a white blur, looked like a cloud. When i got home i was editing the photos and increased the light on this one to see quite a sick bust.

Wave- Tubes At Jefferys bay
Not trying to be self centered this is a photo of me. This was the first morning we arrived in jefferys bay. We got there when it was still dark and tried to judge the waves. We saw something and walked down. It was good, running nicely and hollow. But this is not the story of this photo. When we got back to our really sick rich pad we were watching tv and the guy who's house it was was tuning us he had some pics, so we checked it out and were like aweh give them. He wanted R50 for them, i paid it. Jew bastard. This is not the best part, after an awesome 5 days it was time to leave, none of us were amped for the lets say 5km walk to the bus stop, so we asked this man if he could take us," yeah sure R100 ill take you boys". We never saw him again, dont worry we got to the bus in time, paid a driver in beer.

Pic 5 Sasha Specer

Wave- Famous last words West Coast
I lend my camera to a man with the name Matthew Webester. A DK warrior and enthusiased, i let him shoot the DK heats at SA's. When i saw this pic on my PC i was so stoked, it was mad, crazy style and power. So i send it in to sixty40, never got a reply so now it's here. I love it.

Enjoy

Wet soggy pits

No waves = find some land fun
Just a little mission up to Stellenbosch a few weeks back found ourself's in some mystical forest, where the bmx riders built themselfs some mad ramps and foam pits. So you we put our bodies on the line launching into these soggy pits, some with skateboards and some with just prone body. Bloody fun i tell you!
